Wednesday at 12:00 noon:
Earth meditation followed by brown bag lunch.
This weekly event is held in conjunction with the Earth meditation
that has been held for years at Findhorn at that same hour (5:30p.
their time). The purpose is to connect with the Spirit of the
Land, or the Landscape Angel as Findhorn co-founder, Eileen Cady,
calls it. Some ask what the Land needs, others ask just to connect
with the Spirit of the Land, to hear her voice and feel connected
with the Life Force within and without. The meditation lasts for
30 minutes and is followed by a brown bag lunch to discuss our
experiences in the meditation or other things spiritual. Usually
it is held outdoors in our ritual circle (around a blazing fire
in cold weather!). During inclement weather (rain, bitter cold,
etc.) it is held indoors. The event ends at 12:30p. so folks can
return to work if need be.
